The Wild Life Collective
Step off the beaten track and join us as we adventure together into the bushland of Termeil and Lake Tabourie. We’ll explore to find some of the Shoalhaven’s biggest and most hidden trees; towering spotted gums that most people would walk right past without knowing they’re there. Don’t expect to see Big Spotty or Old Blotchy, there’s other giants out there. We haven't been in these areas yet, so we'll be exploring together.
This isn’t a manicured trail walk: we’ll be weaving through thick bush, ducking under branches, and pushing through scrub to reach these giants. The hike will be around 2–3 hours with short drives between locations, so you’ll need a car to get to the different spots. It’s not overly long, but it is bushy; perfect for anyone who enjoys a bit of adventure.
Expect to look up in awe, explore places few people go, and feel the thrill of finding something truly special in the wild.
What to bring: sturdy shoes, water, snacks, and a sense of adventure.
For ages: kids are welcome, but they’ll need to be capable bushwalkers (grown-ups, be ready to lend a hand).
